How to update your site contact information

Update the email, phone number, and address on your WanderOS site

You update your site's contact email, phone number, and physical address in WanderOS from Settings → Website → Contact. Edit any of the three fields and click Save. This applies to all WanderOS hosts. Updates are published immediately and appear in your site's footer. For details on how the contact info renders in the footer, see How do I set up my footer contact info and social media links?.

How do I update my contact info?

You update your contact info in three steps from a single screen.

  1. Go to app.wander.com and open Settings → Website → Contact.

  2. Edit any of the three fields: Email, Phone number, or Property manager address.

  3. Click Save.

All three fields are required. The Save button only enables once you have changed at least one value. Updates are published immediately.

Field

Format

What it becomes on the live site

Email

Valid email address (e.g. [email protected])

Clickable mailto: link in the footer

Phone number

Whatever format you want displayed (e.g. +1 (555) 123-4567)

Clickable tel: link in the footer

Property manager address

Standard mailing format with street, city, state, zip

Clickable link that opens Google Maps

Tip: Use the format you would put on a business card. Address fields with a complete street, city, state, and zip geocode most reliably in Google Maps.

How does my contact info get prefilled?

If you provided an existing website URL when you signed up for WanderOS, your support email, phone number, and physical address were auto-extracted from that site. Use the steps above any time you need to correct what was extracted or update details that have moved (new office, new support phone line, rebranded support email).

Where does my contact info appear?

The contact info you save here renders in your WanderOS site footer as clickable links. It is also reused anywhere else in your site that references the same website-level settings (for example, on a Contact Us page if you have one configured). Updating it here updates it everywhere.

Troubleshooting

If your contact info update is not behaving as expected, check the most common causes below.

  • Save button is disabled: The button only enables when you have changed at least one field. Edit a value, then save.

  • "Must be at least 1 character" or "Must be at least 3 character" error: All three fields are required. Restore the previous value or enter a new one before saving.

  • Email is rejected: The Email field requires a valid email format. Check for typos and missing @ symbols.

  • Update is not visible on my live site: Hard-refresh your site (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows). If the change still does not appear, log out and back in to confirm you saved against the correct website.

  • My address does not open Google Maps correctly: Use a complete, conventional address with street, city, state, and zip code. Free-form values may not geocode reliably.
