For WanderOS property managers, listing details can differ from the connected Property Management System (PMS) when an update has not reached WanderOS, a PMS field maps differently, or incoming PMS data replaces an edit made in WanderOS.
Photos, amenities, property names, and bed counts are listing content. They update separately from pricing and availability. A connected PMS or an accurate calendar does not confirm that all listing content is current.
Changes made in your PMS may not appear immediately
Changes saved in your PMS do not necessarily appear immediately on your live WanderOS listing. Update behavior depends on the integration and the information being changed.
If your PMS shows the correct information, compare it with:
The listing in your WanderOS dashboard
The live property page
The property card on your homepage or search results
For example, a new cover photo may appear on the property page while the property card still shows the previous image. Tell Support which surface is incorrect so they can investigate the right part of the update process.
Refresh connection does not force photos or descriptions to update. The calendar’s Resync with PMS control refreshes pricing and availability, not listing content.
Incoming PMS data can replace WanderOS edits
Incoming PMS data can replace edits made directly in WanderOS to PMS-managed fields. This can explain why a property name, description, amenity, or bed count appears correct after editing but later changes back.
For information that should stay consistent across platforms, make the change in your PMS first.
If you want different content specifically for your WanderOS site, contact Support to confirm which overrides your integration supports. Editing a field in WanderOS does not automatically protect it from future PMS updates.
Photo ordering works differently. PMS order follows the imported arrangement. Custom order is designed to preserve the arrangement you set in WanderOS, but it does not prevent new PMS photos from being imported.
See Manage Property Rooms and Photos for photo-ordering instructions.
The PMS field you edit may differ from the field Wander uses
PMS fields do not always map directly to the details displayed on your website.
Detail that looks incorrect | Information to check in your PMS |
Property name | Whether you changed the internal name, public title, or nickname |
Amenity | Whether it is selected in the structured amenities fields, not only mentioned in the description |
Bed count | Whether total beds and room-level sleeping arrangements are both correct |
Photos | Whether the images are saved on the correct listing and available to the Wander integration |
Updating one field does not necessarily update another. For example, mentioning a hot tub in the description does not necessarily add it to the listing’s amenities.
If the relevant PMS fields are correct but WanderOS still displays different information, Support can investigate the source data and mapping.
Check the listing and request a content review
To resolve a listing-content mismatch:
Confirm the correct listing in your PMS. Check the PMS listing address, not just the property name.
Verify the change is saved. Check the relevant structured fields for amenities, bedrooms, beds, and sleeping arrangements.
Compare the PMS, WanderOS dashboard, and live site. Note where the information differs.
Contact Support if the mismatch remains or an edit keeps reverting. Explain whether the change never appeared or appeared and later changed back.
Contact [email protected] or use Help Center chat. Include:
Your organization name and PMS
The live property address
The affected detail
The correct value and the value currently displayed
Whether you edited the PMS or WanderOS
When you saved the change
Screenshots showing the correct PMS information and the incorrect WanderOS information
For photo issues, specify whether the problem involves a missing image, an unwanted image, the cover photo, or the order.
Support can use this information to review the listing’s imported content, field mapping, and update behavior.
