Connect your property management system (PMS) to WanderOS and confirm that the properties you want to launch are imported correctly before preparing your direct booking site.
Your PMS provides WanderOS with operational property information, including availability, rates, fees, taxes, and other inventory data. Some website content and listing settings are managed separately in WanderOS.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
Administrator access to your PMS
The credentials or authorization required by your PMS provider
Access to the properties you want to import into WanderOS
Onboarding to WanderOS requires a supported PMS connection. An Airbnb or Vrbo listing URL does not replace a PMS connection.
PMS setup requirements vary by provider. Follow the integration guide for your PMS when connecting or configuring your account.

Connect your PMS
You’ll select and connect your PMS during your initial WanderOS account setup.
Depending on your provider, you may need to authorize WanderOS or enter integration credentials through the secure connection flow. Follow the instructions for your specific PMS.
After connecting your PMS, confirm the connection in WanderOS:
Select your Account.
Select View settings.
Open PMS Sync.
Confirm that the correct PMS appears under Connection.
You’ll also see the number of listings synced from your PMS.
If the correct PMS appears and the expected inventory has synced, your connection is ready for review.

Important: Do not send API keys or integration credentials to Support through a standard message.
Confirm your properties imported
After connecting your PMS, compare the imported inventory with the properties you expect to see in WanderOS.
Go to Account → View settings → PMS Sync and review the number of listings shown as synced under Connection. Then compare that inventory with the properties available under Listings.
A synced property is not necessarily published. A property can be imported into WanderOS while remaining de-listed from your direct booking website.
If a property is missing:
Confirm that the property is active in your PMS.
Confirm that the property is shared with WanderOS.
Check the number of synced listings under PMS Sync.
Compare the synced inventory with your properties under Listings.
Review the integration guide for your PMS for any provider-specific configuration requirements.
New properties should first be created and made available to WanderOS through your PMS before you review and prepare them in WanderOS.

If a property still does not appear, contact Wander Support with the property address and PMS listing ID.
Choose which properties to launch
Importing a property does not mean you need to make it available on your direct booking site.
Review your imported properties and make sure only the properties you want guests to book are listed on your website. Keep unfinished properties de-listed until they are ready.
To review a property's website status, open the property under Listings and review its website channel settings.
De-listing a property hides it from your direct booking site without deleting the listing from WanderOS.
Your Website Status and Wander Status are separate. Changing whether a property appears on your direct booking site does not automatically make the same change to its Wander.com marketplace status.

Review your imported property information
Before launch, spot-check your imported property information to make sure the content guests will rely on appears as expected.
For larger portfolios, you do not need to manually audit every field on every property. Review a representative sample of listings and investigate any property or field that does not look correct.
Pay particular attention to:
Property details
Photos and photo order
Rooms
Amenities
Rates and fees
Availability
If information does not match your PMS, first determine whether that information should be managed in your PMS or WanderOS before making changes.
Troubleshooting: If photos appear out of order
Troubleshooting: If photos appear out of order
If your listing photos appear in a different order than your PMS, check the photo order setting for the property in WanderOS.
Go to Listings → select the property → Listing Details → Rooms and photos. Review whether the listing is Synced with PMS or set to Custom order active in WanderOS.
If you want your photos to follow the order set in your PMS, select the PMS photo order option. If you choose a custom order instead, you can arrange the photos directly in WanderOS.
Review any warning before changing the photo order. Switching back to PMS order replaces your custom arrangement.

Where to edit property information
Most operational property information should be maintained in your PMS. Some listing content and website-specific settings can be managed in WanderOS:
Note: PMS capabilities and configurations vary. This chart provides general guidance and may not match your setup exactly. For field-specific behavior, review the integration guide for your PMS.

Check availability before launch
Before making a property bookable, check representative dates to make sure the availability guests see on your WanderOS site reflects the rules you expect from your PMS.
To review the guest experience, go to Channels → Website → View website and search for a representative property and set of dates.
When investigating an availability difference, compare the same property and dates in both systems and check:
Existing reservations
Owner blocks
Minimum-stay requirements
Arrival restrictions
Departure restrictions
A date can appear open on a calendar but still be unavailable for a particular stay because of minimum-stay or arrival and departure restrictions.
If the availability is incorrect, check and correct the underlying calendar or restriction in your PMS first, then repeat the guest search on your WanderOS site.
If booked dates remain available or the mismatch continues, contact Wander Support with screenshots showing the same property and dates in both systems.

Check your setup
Your PMS and listings are ready for the next stage when:
The correct PMS is connected.
The properties you intend to launch appear under Listings.
Properties you do not want to launch remain de-listed from your website.
Representative listing information appears as expected.
Representative availability follows the expected PMS rules.
You know which information to maintain in your PMS and which content to manage in WanderOS.
You’ll validate rates, fees, taxes, discounts, booking rules, and the final guest checkout total later in the launch process.
