Quick answer
You add a Metrics section to a page in the WanderOS site editor by clicking + Section → Metrics, then configuring the row of stat items (value, label, and icon for each). This applies to all WanderOS hosts.
What is the Metrics section?
The Metrics section is a horizontal row of stat items used to highlight the numbers behind your business — total stays, average rating, years hosting, properties managed, repeat guest rate, or anything else worth showing off. Each item shows a large value, a short label, and an icon.
Note: The Metrics section supports an optional background color, image, or video so you can use it as a visual breaker between other sections on the page.
When should I use the Metrics section?
Use Metrics anywhere you want to give guests a fast, scannable proof point. Common use cases:
By the numbers strip on your Homepage. "500+ Stays," "4.9 Avg Rating," "98% Repeat Guests."
Trust block on your About page. "12 Years Hosting," "30+ Locations," "24/7 Support."
Performance highlight on a property collection page. "200+ Pet-Friendly Stays," "4.95 Avg Rating," "Top 1% Hosts."
Visual breaker between sections. Use a background image or video to give long pages a moment of visual interest.
How do I add a Metrics section to my page?
You add a Metrics section from the page editor in three steps.
Go to app.wander.com → Website → Pages and open the page you want to edit.
In the Sections panel on the left, click + Section.
Under Basics, select Metrics.
The section appears on your page with placeholder items ready to configure.
How do I configure metric items?
Click into the section to open the editor. For each item, set:
Value. The headline number or stat. Examples: "500+", "4.9", "98%", "12".
Label. A short description of what the value means. Examples: "Happy Guests", "Avg Rating", "Repeat Guests", "Years Hosting".
Icon. A visual indicator that reinforces the stat (star, home, user, calendar, etc.).
You can also configure the section as a whole:
Section title. An optional heading that sits above the row of items (e.g., "Why guests choose us").
Background color, image, or video. Optional. Use one of the three to give the section a custom look.
Manage your items:
Add items. Use the + control to add more stat items.
Reorder. Drag items to reorder them.
Delete. Use the three-dot (kebab) menu on an item to remove it.
Best practices
Use 3 to 5 items. A row of 3 to 5 stats reads cleanly on desktop and mobile. More than 5 starts to feel cluttered.
Lead with your strongest number. Put the most impressive or relevant stat first.
Keep values short. "500+" reads better than "500 stays completed". The label is the place for the description.
Keep labels short. 1 to 3 words. Mobile devices truncate long labels.
Use real numbers you can defend. Hosts are sometimes asked about claims. Avoid round numbers that read as marketing fluff (e.g., "1 million guests" when the real number is 8,000).
Pick icons that match the meaning. A star for ratings, a calendar for years, a home for properties. Generic icons dilute the message.
Use the background sparingly. A background image or video looks great on the Homepage but can be heavy on every page. Pick one or two pages where it earns its place.
