You can configure your Terms of Service and Rental Agreement from Website > Terms in the Wander Dashboard.

These settings apply to your entire direct-booking website. They are not configured separately for individual properties.

Open the Terms settings

Sign in to app.wander.com.
Select Website in the left sidebar.
Open Terms under Website settings.
Select Change next to Terms of Service or Rental Agreement.

The page is titled Customize your terms and conditions.

Configure your Terms of Service

You have two options for Terms of Service:

1. Just use ours

Select Just use ours to use Wander’s standard Terms of Service.

This is the default when you have not added custom Terms of Service.

2. Add yours

Select Add yours to add your own Terms of Service as an addendum.

Select Change next to Terms of Service.
Select Add yours.
Select Continue.
Paste or enter your terms in the editor.
Select Save.

Your custom Terms of Service are added to the bottom of the standard Wander Terms page under:

Additional Terms from [YOUR BRAND]

Your custom terms do not replace Wander’s standard Terms of Service through this setting.

How can I replace Wander’s standard Terms page?

If you need your own content to replace the full standard Terms page:

In the website editor create a New page
Select a Page type, such as Blank
Name the page Terms which creates the URL slug terms.
Click Add sections to add a content block, such as Content
Input your copy as desired

A Site Editor page with the terms slug replaces the full default Terms page, including the standard Wander Terms content.

Use this option only when you want to manage the complete Terms page yourself.

Configure a Rental Agreement

You have two options for the Rental Agreement:

1. Use none

Select Use none when you do not want to provide a separate Rental Agreement.

This is the default option.

2. Use your rental agreement

Select Use your rental agreement to add a Rental Agreement to your direct-booking website.

Select Change next to Rental Agreement.
Select Use your rental agreement.
Select Continue.
Paste or enter your agreement in the editor.
Select Save.

When an active Rental Agreement exists:

The agreement is available at your-domain.com/rental-agreement.
The checkout consent text includes a link to the Rental Agreement.
The website footer includes a Rental Agreement link.

To remove a Rental Agreement:

Select Change next to Rental Agreement.
Select Use none.
Select Continue.

Removing the agreement archives the document and removes it from the checkout consent text and website footer.

FAQs

Where do the Terms of Service and Rental Agreement appear to guests?

For direct-booking websites:

Without an active Rental Agreement, guests agree to the Terms of Service.
With an active Rental Agreement, the checkout consent text includes both the Terms of Service and Rental Agreement.

Guests can open each document from the linked checkout text.

Is there an electronic-signature workflow for Terms of Service or Rental Agreement?

Wander does not currently provide an electronic-signature workflow for Terms of Service or Rental Agreements. Guests accept the linked terms through the checkout consent flow.

Can I keep using my PMS or e-signature workflow instead?

Yes. If you already collect a signed rental agreement through your PMS or another software, that workflow continues to work in parallel. WanderOS's rental agreement option is independent — you can:

Leave it off (Use none) and rely entirely on your PMS-driven signing flow.
Turn it on (Use your own) for an in-checkout acceptance, and still send a separate signing request from your PMS afterward.

Where else do legal links appear?

The website footer includes a Terms of Service link. When an active Rental Agreement exists, it also includes a Rental Agreement link.

Does this apply to Wander.com Marketplace bookings?

This article applies to direct-booking websites.

Wander.com Marketplace bookings use Wander’s Terms of Service. A host’s direct-booking Rental Agreement is not added to the Wander.com Marketplace checkout consent flow.
