Manage your Site's Header and Footer Navigation

Choose which WanderOS pages appear in your website's header menu and footer, and add custom links and header buttons.

Site navigation lets you control which pages and links appear in your website's header menu and footer.

To customize these links, go to Customize → Site navigation in the Site Editor.

  • Header menu: Appears when visitors click the menu icon (☰) in the upper-right corner of your website.

  • Footer links: Appear at the bottom of most pages on your website.

Open Site navigation

  1. Sign in to app.wander.com.

  2. Under Channels, select Website, then Edit website.

  3. In the left column under Customize, select Site navigation.

  4. Make your changes, then select Save.

Show or hide pages in the header menu

Under Header, each page has a switch . Turn it on to show the page in your header menu and off to hide it.

The homepage is always reached from your logo, so it has no switch.

A page must be published to appear in the menu. Unpublished pages are dimmed in the list; their switch takes effect once the page is published. See the Preview, save, publish, and unpublish a page.

Show or hide pages in the footer

Under Footer, use the same switches to choose which pages appear in your footer. The same publish rule applies.

Add custom footer links

Under Footer additional links, add links that are not pages on your site, such as a partner website or a document.

For each link, enter a Label and either a Page path on your site or a custom URL starting with https://. Select Save in the link dialog, then Save the page.

Add header action buttons

If Header action buttons appears in your Site navigation panel, you can add buttons to your header, such as "Book now" or "List with us."

For each button, enter a Button label, choose a Page path or custom URL, and turn on Primary button for the one you want emphasized.

Footer contact details and social links are set elsewhere

Your footer's contact details, social media links, and logo are set under Customize → Styles.
