Next Steps After your WanderOS Site Goes Live

🖥️ Learn the key steps to take after your site launches,

Once your WanderOS site is live, you can start sending guests to your new direct booking site!

Use these next steps to confirm your first booking is working as expected, update places that link to your website, and start getting more value from your direct booking channel.

Manage reservations, cancellations, refunds, and payouts

After launch, where you manage a reservation depends on the action you need to take.

Refunds always process refunds in WanderOS.

Cancellation workflows depend on your connected PMS. Follow the instructions for your PMS when you need to cancel a reservation.

Use the dedicated Help Center guides for ongoing reservation and payment management:

Add your team

Invite team members who need access to WanderOS so the right people can help manage your direct booking business.

Use the team management guide to add or manage access:

Import your past guests

Importing your historical guest data gives you a larger audience you can reconnect with through your direct booking strategy.

Use the guest import guide to get started:

Tell past guests about your new site

Once your site is live, consider sending an email campaign to past guests announcing your new direct booking website.

This can help previous guests discover your new site and gives them a direct place to book their next stay.

If you imported historical guests into WanderOS, you can use that audience for your launch campaign.

Use the guest import guide to get started:

Update links to your website

Update the places you control that still send guests to your previous website or booking experience.

Check links on:

  • Your Google Business Profile

  • Social media profiles

  • Email signatures

  • Marketing emails

  • Partner websites

  • Online directories

  • Other websites or profiles where you promote direct bookings

Make sure each link sends guests to the appropriate page on your new WanderOS site.

If an old URL is controlled by another provider and cannot be redirected, updating these external links is especially important.

Connect your analytics and advertising tools

If you use analytics or advertising platforms, connect them to your WanderOS site so you can measure traffic and marketing performance.

Use the relevant integration guides for setup:

Keep your website up to date

You can continue updating your WanderOS website after launch.

For most website changes, you can use the AI site editor. Describe the change you want to make and review the result before publishing it.

You can also make changes manually using the website editor when you want more direct control.

For detailed instructions:

Remember that website editing is separate from operational property information managed through your PMS or other areas of WanderOS.

You're ready to manage your site!

Your initial WanderOS setup is complete once your site is live. From here, focus on keeping your website current, managing new reservations and payments, and driving guests to your direct booking site.
