What is the Reservations dashboard?
The Reservations dashboard is your central hub for tracking all booking activity from your WanderOS site and the Wander Marketplace. From managing Request to Book inquiries to auditing financial breakdowns, this section gives you full visibility into your guest pipeline.
How do I access the Reservations dashboard?
Log in to app.wander.com.
Click Reservations in the left sidebar.
What tabs are available in the Reservations dashboard?
The page is organized into four tabs:
Tab | Description |
Active | Guests currently staying at your properties. |
Upcoming | Confirmed future bookings. |
Requests | Pending Request to Book submissions awaiting your approval. |
Past | Completed stays. |
How do I search and filter reservations?
The Reservations page includes a search bar and a Filters button at the top.
Search
Use the search bar to find reservations by property name or customer name.
Filters
Click Filters to open the filter panel. You can filter by:
Filter | Options |
Customer | Filter by guest name. |
Listing | Filter by a specific property. |
Dates | Filter by a start date and end date range. |
Tags | New request, Refunded, Partially refunded, Cancelled. |
Channels | Website (your direct booking site) or Wander (the Wander Marketplace). |
Click Show results to apply, or Reset to clear all filters.
Tip: Use the Channels filter to separate your direct site bookings from your Wander Marketplace bookings when reconciling revenue.
What information does the Reservation Drawer show?
Click any reservation to open the Reservation Drawer, a side panel with a snapshot of the booking:
Guest: Name, email, and phone number.
Reservation: Property name, check-in and check-out dates and times.
Payment: Payment type (Full or Half Now / Half Later), current status, and total amount paid.
How do I manage Request to Book (RTB) inquiries?
If you have RTB enabled, you must manually approve or decline incoming inquiries.
Go to Reservations → Requests.
Click a pending request to open the Reservation Drawer.
Review the guest details and dates.
Click Approve to confirm the booking. You can include an optional message to the guest.
Click Decline to reject the request. You can provide a reason if desired.
Important: You have 72 hours from the date of the request to approve or decline. If no action is taken within that window, the request is automatically voided and the guest is notified that the booking did not go through.
Tip: Speed matters. Guests often message multiple hosts. Responding quickly ensures they don't book a competitor's property while waiting for your approval.
Note: Wander sends direct email alerts for new RTB requests with Approve buttons built into the email so you can act without logging in, even when you're away from the dashboard.
How do I audit invoices and fees?
To verify your WanderOS bookings are perfectly synced with your PMS, you can view a granular financial breakdown for every reservation:
Open the Reservation Drawer by clicking a reservation.
Click the guest's name to go to their profile.
Select the Invoices tab.
Click the relevant invoice to open the full breakdown.
What's included on the invoice?
Line Item | Description |
Subtotal | Nightly rate multiplied by the number of nights. |
Fees | Cleaning fees, pet fees, and other additional charges. |
Taxes | All applicable occupancy and local taxes. |
Platform Fees | Breakdown of the 3% Wander booking fee and 2.85% Wander Payments processing fee. |
Totals | The final amount charged to the guest vs. the amount currently paid. |
What do the reservation statuses mean?
Status | Definition |
Confirmed | Payment processed. The booking is officially on the calendar. |
Pending | A Request to Book inquiry waiting for host action. |
Declined | The host rejected the booking request. |
Expired | The 72-hour Request to Book approval window closed before the host took action. The request is automatically voided. |
Cancelled | A previously confirmed booking that has been voided. |
Best Practices
Act on RTB within 72 hours. Requests automatically void after the 72-hour window closes, costing you the booking. Set up email notifications so you never miss one.
Reconcile invoices monthly. Use the invoice breakdown to verify your WanderOS bookings match your PMS records. If you spot a discrepancy in taxes or fees, contact [email protected] immediately.
Respond to RTB quickly. Guests browsing direct booking sites often have multiple options open. Fast approval increases your conversion rate.
Use filters to track performance. Filter by Channels (Website vs. Wander) to compare bookings from your direct site against the Wander Marketplace.
Watch your email. Wander sends RTB notifications with one-click Approve buttons so you can act on requests without logging in.
