Quick answer
You add a reviews section to a WanderOS page from the page editor: open the page, click + Section, choose Reviews, and pick a display style. This applies to all WanderOS hosts. Reviews must already be synced into WanderOS before they will appear.
How do I get reviews into WanderOS first?
Reviews must be synced into WanderOS before any reviews section will populate. WanderOS pulls reviews two ways:
Airbnb and VRBO: Paste each property's listing URL into the Reviews tab on the property.
PMS sync: If your PMS is Hostaway or Guesty, reviews sync automatically once the PMS is connected.
For step-by-step setup, see How do I sync reviews into WanderOS from Airbnb, VRBO, and my PMS?.
Tip: Connect your review sources before publishing the page. An empty reviews section will hide itself on the live site until at least one review is synced.
How do I add a reviews section to a page?
You add a reviews section to a page from the WanderOS page editor in five steps. Reviews already appear automatically on individual property pages, so this flow is for adding them to your Homepage, About page, or a standalone Reviews page.
Go to app.wander.com and open Website → Pages from the left menu.
Select the page you want to edit.
Click + Section at the location where the reviews should appear.
Select Reviews from the section category list.
Choose your display style (see the next section).
Which review display style should I pick?
WanderOS offers three review display styles. Pick the one that matches the page you are editing.
Reviews (Summary + Pagination) — Best for homepages and landing pages. Shows the overall star rating, total review count, and a paginated modal for browsing all reviews.
Reviews (Grid) — Best for a dedicated reviews page. A three-column card layout that displays many reviews at once.
Reviews (Highlighted) — Best for About pages and hero sections. A full-width carousel that spotlights top-rated feedback with a large average rating display.
Tip: Build a "Wall of Love" by creating a standalone page at /reviews using the Reviews (Grid) style. This gives guests a single page to read your full review history.
How do I hide or show individual reviews?
You hide or show individual reviews from the Reviews tab on each property. Use the visibility toggle on any review to remove it from guest-facing pages.
Go to app.wander.com and select Listings in the left sidebar.
Select the property you want to manage.
Select Settings.
Open the Reviews tab.
Use the visibility toggle on each review to show or hide it.
Note: Hidden reviews are completely removed from your guest-facing site. They do not appear in any review section and do not contribute to your overall star rating or review count. Your displayed score reflects only visible reviews.
How do I sort reviews in my dashboard?
You sort reviews in your dashboard from the Sort control in the Reviews tab. Choose Newest or Oldest to manage large volumes of feedback.
Troubleshooting
If your reviews section does not look right, check the most common causes below.
Section is empty: Reviews must be synced first. Check your Airbnb, VRBO, or PMS connection in the property's Reviews tab.
Star count looks too high: Hidden reviews still contribute to your overall rating. Either un-hide them or accept the displayed score as the all-in total.
Per-listing count differs from site count: The dashboard shows per-listing counts. Site sections add up reviews across all properties. This is expected.
Section does not appear after publishing: Confirm the page is published, not just saved. Use Preview to verify before publishing.
