Which variant should I pick: Photos Grid or Photo Collage?
You pick the variant when you add the section. The choice changes which fields you can edit and how the photos render on the live site.

You cannot switch a section between variants after adding it. To change variants, delete the section and add a new one.
How do I add a photos section to a page?
You add a photos section in five steps from the WanderOS page editor.
Go to app.wander.com and open Website → Pages from the left menu.
Select the page you want to edit.
Click + Section at the location where the photos should appear.
Open the Assets group, hover Photos, and pick Photos Grid or Photo Collage.
Use the right sidebar to set the section header and add or replace each photo.
Click Publish when you are done.
What can I configure on the Photos Grid variant?
The Photos Grid sidebar has section-level header fields plus a list of photo items.
Section header
Title — main heading above the grid
Eyebrow — small label above the title (e.g. "Stay & explore")
Description — short supporting line below the title
Per photo
Image — opens the photo picker (upload your own, browse curated, or search Unsplash)
Title — caption shown under the image
Description — secondary text under the title
Photo Link (CTA) — optional URL. When set, clicking the image opens this link (for example, a blog post, a property page, or an external guide).
Use + New item to add more photos. Use Remove item on a photo to delete it.
What can I configure on the Photo Collage variant?
The Photo Collage sidebar focuses on the section heading, a CTA button pair, and the image set.
Section header
Title — main heading
Description — short supporting line
Buttons
Primary CTA — visibility toggle, button text, link URL, and a fill color picker
Secondary CTA — same fields as Primary CTA
Images
Use + Add image to add a photo (up to 18).
Use the trash icon to remove a photo (minimum 6 must remain).
Each image is just a picture; the collage handles sizing and the auto-scrolling animation automatically.
Note: The collage requires a minimum of 6 images and caps at 18. New photo collage sections come prefilled with 6 curated placeholder images so the section renders immediately. Replace each placeholder with one of your own photos before publishing.

Every photo field opens the same Add a photo dialog with three sources:
Curated photos — a Wander-curated library of stock images
Photos by Unsplash — free stock photos searchable by keyword
Upload a photo — upload a file from your computer

Tip: Use your own property or destination photos wherever a guest expects to see something specific. Reserve stock photos for atmospheric or supporting content like blog headers and brand pages.
Troubleshooting
If your photos section does not look right, check the most common causes below.
Section is blank or shows placeholder boxes: At least one photo must be uploaded. For Photos Grid, items without an image render an empty placeholder. For Photo Collage, replace any leftover prefilled placeholders with your own images.
Photo Collage has too few or too many images: The collage requires 6 to 18 images. The add and remove controls disable themselves at the limits.
Clicking a Photos Grid image does nothing: The Photo Link (CTA) field is empty. Paste a full URL (starting with
https://) into the field and republish.A Photo Collage image is not linkable: The Photo Collage variant does not support per-image links by design. Use the Primary or Secondary CTA buttons in the section header instead, or switch to the Photos Grid variant.
Photos look cropped: Both variants use cover-fit cropping with fixed aspect ratios. Upload images with the subject roughly centered, or crop them in your photo tool before uploading.
I want to switch variants: Variants cannot be swapped after adding. Delete the section and add a new Photos section with the variant you want.
