Quick answer
You configure Page Settings in WanderOS from app.wander.com → Website → Pages. Click the three-dot menu next to any page (or the same menu inside the page editor) and select Settings. From the Settings panel you can update the page's Custom Slug, control whether it appears in your navigation bar or footer, and edit its SEO Title Tag, Meta Description, Featured Image, and Keywords, then click Save Settings. This applies to all WanderOS hosts and property managers and works on every page type, including custom pages, your homepage, and blog posts.
Where do I find Page Settings?
You can open Page Settings from two places. Both open the same panel.
From the Pages list:
Go to
app.wander.com→ Website → Pages.Find the page you want to update.
Click the three-dot (kebab) menu on the right side of the page row.
Select Settings.
From inside the page editor:
Open the page from the Pages list.
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the editor.
Select Settings.
Tip: If you already have the page open to edit content, use the in-editor entry point so you do not lose unsaved work.
What can I configure in Page Settings?
The Settings panel groups its fields into three areas: the page's URL, where the page shows up in your site's navigation, and how it appears in search and social.
Custom Slug
The Custom Slug controls the page's URL path after your domain. Entering features makes the page live at yoursite.com/features. Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. Do not include a leading slash, spaces, or special characters.
Important: If you change the slug on a page that is already published, every external link to the old URL will break. If the old URL has inbound traffic, search rankings, or marketing links, create a redirect from the old path to the new one. See How do I create URL redirects for my WanderOS site?
Show in navigation bar and footer
Page Settings is also where you control whether a page appears as a link in your site's top navigation bar and bottom footer. Each page has two independent toggles:
Show in navigation bar: When on, the page appears as a link in your site's top navigation menu. Turn it off to keep the page live and reachable by direct URL but hide it from the main menu.
Show in footer: When on, the page appears as a link in your site's footer. Turn it off to remove it from the footer link list.
Common reasons to turn these off:
Landing pages used only in marketing campaigns, where the URL is shared directly.
Legal pages you want only in the footer and not the top nav, or vice versa.
Seasonal pages you want to keep published but stop promoting in the menu.
Note: Turning off both toggles does not unpublish the page. The page is still live at its URL and indexable by Google. To take a page fully offline, unpublish it from the page editor instead.
SEO Title Tag, Meta Description, and Keywords
These three fields control how your page appears in Google search results. The Title Tag is the headline shown in browser tabs and search results, the Meta Description is the snippet underneath it, and Keywords is a comma-separated list of search terms relevant to the page.
For character limits, format guidance, and writing tips for all three fields, see Optimizing for Search: How to Update Page SEO Settings. That article is the source of truth for SEO field best practices.
Featured Image
The Featured Image is the image that displays in two places:
The preview card when someone shares a link to the page on social media or in messaging apps. This is also called the Open Graph image.
The card for that page inside the Blog Gallery section, if you use one.
Upload a horizontal image at 1200 by 630 pixels for the best result. Smaller images may appear blurry on social previews. Larger images will be downscaled.
How do I save my changes?
You save Page Settings by clicking Save Settings at the bottom of the panel. Changes apply to your live site immediately on save. You do not need to re-publish the page.
Note: Saving Page Settings is independent of saving the page's content. If you have unsaved content edits in the editor, save those separately before closing the editor.

Troubleshooting
If something does not behave as expected, check the most common causes below.
My new slug shows an "already in use" error: Another page on your site uses the same slug. Pick a different slug, or rename or delete the conflicting page first.
I turned off Show in navigation but the page still appears in the menu: Hard-refresh your live site (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows) to clear the cached menu. The change takes effect on save but cached pages may show the old menu briefly.
My Featured Image looks blurry on social shares: Re-upload at 1200 by 630 pixels. Smaller images get upscaled and lose sharpness.
The old URL returns a 404 after I changed the slug: Add a redirect from the old path to the new one. See How do I create URL redirects for my WanderOS site?
