How do I format links in WanderOS?

How to format links for buttons, CTAs, and hyperlinks in content across your WanderOS site.

How do I set links on buttons and CTAs?

Buttons and CTA sections require you to enter a link URL. The format depends on whether you are linking to a page on your own site or an external website.

Linking to pages on your site

Use the page slug with a leading slash. This keeps visitors on your site without a full page reload.

Note: Use the slug you set when creating the page. For example, if you created a page with the slug "neighborhood-guide," link to it as /neighborhood-guide.

Linking to external websites

Use the full URL including https://.

How do I add hyperlinks in content sections?

In the Content (Default) section, the rich text editor lets you add clickable hyperlinks within your text. This is useful for linking specific words or phrases to other pages or resources.

To add a hyperlink:

  1. Highlight the text you want to turn into a link.

  2. Click the link button in the text editor toolbar.

  3. Enter the URL.

Hyperlinks support the following URL formats:

Example

Internal page

/page-slug

/faq

External website

https://...

https://www.google.com

Email

mailto:address

Note: Hyperlinks in content sections open in a new tab by default.

Tips

  • Always use relative links for internal pages. Using /about instead of https://yoursite.com/about ensures links work correctly if your domain changes and avoids unnecessary full page loads.

  • Match slugs exactly. Links are case-sensitive. If your page slug is FAQ, link to /FAQ not /faq.

  • Use descriptive link text. Instead of "click here," write "view our cancellation policy" so guests know what to expect before clicking
