Quick answer
Pay in Full is the default payment option in WanderOS. The guest is charged 100% of the booking total at checkout, and the reservation is confirmed instantly through Instant Book. Pay in Full is always available — no host setup is required. This applies to all WanderOS hosts and property managers.
How does Pay in Full work?
When a guest selects Pay in Full at checkout:
The full booking amount (rate, fees, and applicable taxes) is charged to the guest's payment method.
As soon as the charge succeeds, the booking is confirmed. The guest receives a confirmation email and the reservation appears in your dashboard.
No second payment is scheduled. The booking is paid in full.
When is Pay in Full the only option?
Pay in Full is the only option a guest sees in either of these cases:
The host has not enabled Half Now, Half Later (HNHL).
The check-in date is not at least 31 days away. HNHL is not available for short-lead bookings.
In both cases the guest pays 100% at checkout to confirm the reservation.
Do I need to enable Pay in Full?
No. Pay in Full is always on by default for every WanderOS host. There is no toggle to turn it off.
Note: Pay in Full is not affected by your HNHL setting. Even when HNHL is enabled, guests can still choose Pay in Full at checkout — it remains the default option.
