You set your default home view and your dashboard theme from Settings → Preferences. This applies to all WanderOS hosts and Property Managers (PMs).
The Preferences tab controls your personal dashboard experience only. Your choices apply to your login and do not affect teammates or your public direct booking site.
How do I set my default home view in WanderOS?
You set your default home view by selecting a landing tab on the Preferences tab in Settings. The tab you pick is what loads every time you log in to WanderOS.
Log in to WanderOS at app.wander.com.
Click your avatar in the top left and select Settings.
Open the Preferences tab.
Under Default home view, select one of the following:
Home — the standard WanderOS landing page with summary cards and recent activity.
Reservations — opens directly to your reservations list.
Listings — opens directly to your listings overview.
The change saves immediately. The next time you log in, WanderOS opens to the tab you selected.
Tip: If you spend most of your day in reservations or listings, set that as your default home view to skip an extra click on every login.
How do I change the theme of my WanderOS dashboard?
You change the theme by selecting a theme option on the Preferences tab in Settings. The theme applies only to your account on this browser and device.
Log in to WanderOS at app.wander.com.
Click your avatar in the top left and select Settings.
Open the Preferences tab.
Under Theme, select one of the following:
Match system — WanderOS follows your operating system's light or dark setting and switches automatically when your system does.
Dark mode — uses the dark color theme regardless of your system setting.
Light mode — uses the light color theme regardless of your system setting.
The dashboard updates immediately. No page refresh is needed.
Troubleshooting
If something does not work, check the most common causes below.
Default home view did not change on login: Log out fully and log back in. The new default applies to fresh logins, not to tabs you already had open.
Theme did not switch when I changed my system setting: Confirm you have Match system selected, not Dark mode or Light mode. The fixed options ignore your system setting on purpose.
My teammate sees a different default view or theme: This is expected. Preferences are per-user. Each teammate sets their own from their own Settings → Preferences.
